Well I need a sorta good quality guitar package for my birthday. I was thinking about a fender because I already have a fender acoustic. I’m new to playing the guitar and I was thinking about getting electric? I heard that guitar packages had cheap guitars and amps. I just need a beginning guitar. I would like the package to come with an amp, guitar, case, strap, etc. My price range is around $ 200-$ 350
(I like the punk, grunge sound)

Hello there,

I am not a fan of the beginner packs. The amps in those are lousy. I think you are better off getting a guitar and amp separately. The Fender Mustang II is a good beginner amp. It is a 1×12 combo amp that has amp modeling. So it is very versatile. It has many built in effects so you will not need effects pedals for the basic effects. It sells for $ 200 new. That leaves enough to buy a Squier Bullet Strat. That is a decent playing guitar for any beginner.
