Nothing over 900?! Lucky. I’ve been playing for 4 years and I’m still stuck with the $ 110 starter Yamaha.

There are many good guitars in that price range. Visit a guitar store and try them out until one grabs you. I have an American Made Highway 1 Strat that costs a little less than that.

No. I cannot recommend a guitar for you, not to be mean, but because what works for me might not necessarily work for you. I would recommend, however, that you look at musiciansfriend.com. or go to a local guitar store and play a few guitars in your price range to see what feels right.

Ha nothing over 900 nice, but I whould say it depends on what kind of music you like to play, a fender strat is good for just about everything blues and rock play great on it for the price range a epiphone les paul will be great. And of course go around the store and try some out. Remember you need a great amp as well as a great guitar a guitar is only half the tone. Effects are good to have too, I whould say if you get the cheaper, but still great epiphone les paul you could get a POD. Right now I so want a POD XT live really great, the best thing is you not need a great amp only a nice amp. You should check it out at line 6 dot com
in guitar center, they sell Fender Stratocasters for about $ 400. But they’re the standard editions. If not, u could always get a Squier Stratocaster for about $ 200. Squiers are also made by Fender but for beginners, meaning there is a couple frets less than the Fender Strats. Either way Fender makes good guitars.
