  1. Yea start with an electic guitar and then move on i’d say kuz there are so many techniques you have to learn with an electric guitar that you cant learn or do with an accoustic guitar..

I guess the bad thing about getting an accoustic is that u need an amp.

  2. I started with an acoustic and worked my way to an electric-acoustic before finally getting an electric. Electric makes it way too easy to strum for a note and can make you lazy, in my opinion. If you want to learn guitar, the traditional route is to learn on an acoustic first.

  3. dude do what i did get a cheap elektric guitar then if you like it then get a better and then later a better one …..oh yea and if you do end up getting and electric guitar get a line 6 amp there really good

  4. You answered yourself man. You want the electric. You won’t be happy unless you have one. Get a nice Fender Squier or something cheap but with a descent brand name like Fender or Ibanez or Gibson or Ephiphone…maybe like 200 bones or less, sometimes they throw in the amp. Save up, get the electric, get an amp…practice…then get some effects pedals and blow your mind.
